Easy Reconcilement

You will receive an easy to read monthly statement listing transactions on all your credit union accounts. And for those that prefer to receive their statement electronically, we offer FREE E-statements. In addition, your drafts (checks) come with carbon duplicates. That way, if you forget to record a draft, you may simply refer to the carbon copy.

Overdraft Protection

First Capital recognizes that overdrafts can happen. Because a fee is incurred for returned checks, we encourage our members to be prepared by offering overdraft protection options. Overdraft protection provides pre-arranged coverage for overdrafts that may occur. When you open your share draft account, Share Overdraft Coverage is automatically set up! To receive additional Overdraft Coverage you may contact First Capital.

* Share Overdraft Coverage - this option means the exact amount of the overdraft is transferred from your regular share account.
* Loan Overdraft Coverage - this option is a line of credit that is available to qualified borrowers to cover overdrafts. The exact amount needed to cover an overdraft will be transferred from the line of credit. Interest accrues daily; beginning the day of the transfer, at the rate established when the line of credit was set up. Ask a loan officer if a line of credit is right for you!

These two overdraft options can be used together and you decide which one should be accessed first to cover an overdraft. As long as funds are available in the selected overdraft option, you will not be charged the $30 fee for each returned draft.

Prepare for the unexpected at your credit union. We make it so easy!
